The above law defines the aim of special education as: the all-round and harmonious development of the personality of pupils with disabilities and special educational needs; b) the improvement and utilization of their potential and skills in order to enable their integration or reintegration into general school, where and when possible; c) the integration, in accordance with their potential, into the educational system, social life and professional activity; and d) mutual acceptance, their harmonious coexistence with society as a whole and their equal social development, with the aim of ensuring full accessibility for pupils with disabilities and pupils with special educational needs, as well as for teachers and/or parents and guardians with disabilities, to all the infrastructure (buildings, equipment, including electronic equipment), services and goods available to them.

Objectives

The main goal of the project is to improve the quality of education for disadvantaged groups through the development of a comprehensive and accessible e-learning platform. This will be achieved through various work packages, including a needs assessment and baseline study, curriculum development and teacher training, the development of the e-learning platform, and dissemination and advocacy efforts.
