The above law defines the aim of special education as: the all-round and harmonious development of the personality of pupils with disabilities and special educational needs; b) the improvement and utilization of their potential and skills in order to enable their integration or reintegration into general school, where and when possible; c) the integration, in accordance with their potential, into the educational system, social life and professional activity; and d) mutual acceptance, their harmonious coexistence with society as a whole and their equal social development, with the aim of ensuring full accessibility for pupils with disabilities and pupils with special educational needs, as well as for teachers and/or parents and guardians with disabilities, to all the infrastructure (buildings, equipment, including electronic equipment), services and goods available to them. |
